Here's Ability Fierce's coverage of Thursday's protest outside Gov. Andrew Cuomo's NYC office. The governor didn't come down and speak to us and I'm not even sure he was in the city, but we had a pretty good turn out considering how cold it was. This is a very important issue, folks. And what's worrisome is how confusing it all is with all the acronym's and budgetary maneuvers _ the confusion allows the Cuomo administration to say it's not doing exactly what it is doing, which is endangering this valuable program that allows tens of thousands of disabled and elderly people to stay out of institutions. I'm sure even more people would have come out to protest if they were able _ but that's a recurring problem when campaigning for disability rights.
